Are you ready to level up your makgeolli brewing skills? Have you tried brewing makgeolli but haven’t had the most amazing results? Now is your chance to learn how to brew incredibly delicious sool from the experts!
We are excited to announce a special edition advanced brewing makgeolli course, taught by Sool Specialist Julia Mellor. Julia has been teaching Korean alcohol brewing courses for many years and currently lives in the Netherlands to expand The Sool Company internationally. She will be back in Korea for a limited time, and that means a chance to brew!
This special edition course will have 4 classes, each designed to set you up with the tools you need to become a great brewer. Whether you have brewed before or have no experience, all are welcome in this course.
Each class will have a theory, practical brewing and tasting session. You will take home a vessel of your brew to take care of and finish stages at home, and in the last class we will all share some of the results together!
If you can’t commit to the full course or you just want to take individual classes, feel free to select the class that suits you. See the class details below.
We offer the 4-class at two different timings:
Option #1 – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00PM starting on May 23rd
Option #2 – Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00PM starting on May 20th
Class 1: Advanced Danyangju & Godubap
Class 2: Foundations of Multi-Stage Brewing & Juk
Class 3: Infusions & ‘100 Flowers Wine’
Class 4: Bottling, Aging & Tasting Evaluation
Class 5: Brewery Visit (Optional)
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the class date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made after the 48 hour period will not receive any refunds. If the class is canceled by management for any unforeseen or unavoidable reason, guests will receive a full refund.
